Key Codes

Key codes are unique identifiers that can be applied to your data. These identifiers then can be used to track your data in and out of the database. For example, a list of Physicians could be key coded by Specialty. Selecting a particular Key code would allow you to view the entire Specialty within that key code. You could then place the key code in an advertisement and allow you to track the effectiveness of that advertisement to specific Physicians within a Specialty.

 

For the Data, the key code could allow you to merge the list with others and not worry about losing track of which list is which. You could for example have five lists for one campaign, key coding each list lets you distinguish them from each other if you place them all into one mailing.
